Southern Accent Restaurant is situated in a Victorian town house in Toronto’s Mirvish Village (near Bloor and Bathurst) with cozy corners, private rooms and a 1940’s bar. Charm is our middle name! And did we mention fun? Southern Accent has been proudly serving happy customers since 1984.

Over the years we have perfected the sights, sounds and tastes of New Orleans with our spicy blend of Cajun/Creole and Soul cuisine, Zydeco & Louisiana music and funky decor. Our warm hospitality, inviting staff and unique atmosphere have established us as a destination restaurant and favorite location for parties of all kinds — Mardi Gras, weddings, birthdays, you name it!

We are open for dinner nightly from Tuesday to Sunday at 5:30pm and we can accommodate up to 120 guests (150 when the patio is open) with a wide variety of seating options. Groups of one hundred or more can book out the entire restaurant for sit-down or cocktail functions. Mid-sized parties of ten to thirty six can dine privately in one of five different rooms. And for very intimate dinners why not try one of our cozy “Snugs” — curtained booths with just enough room for two. We also offer offsite catering so if your group can’t make it to us, we’ll make it and bring it to you.
