Located just 30 minutes from Vancouver, Mount Seymour is situated on the east side of Vancouver's North Shore. The areas proximity to the Pacific Ocean, an eastern aspect, and the highest base elevation in the region combine to provide the slopes with an average annual snowfall of over 1000cm.

Mount Seymour is a favorite day trip destination for families living in or visiting the region. The Snow School has a rich history of introducing new skiers and snowboarders to the slopes and has crafted a variety of popular single-day and multi-day programs. The areas 200 acres of terrain, including 11 trails lit for night skiing, feature gentle slopes where beginners will excel. Advanced skiers and snowboarders will find challenge and many hidden secrets within the areas naturally contoured slopes, gullies, tree runs, and terrain parks.

Freestyle progression continues at Mount Seymour with the development of three terrain parks including the regions only urban designed jib park. Skiers and snowboarders who spend more time in the air than on snow will find the right blend of jumps and jibs. In fact, 50% of Mount Seymour's guests are regular park users. The Jaguar/Land Rover Terrain Park contains features designed by the pro's on the Seymour Team (including Roberta Rodger, Sean Genovese, and JP Auclair).

Besides skiing and snowboarding, Mount Seymour maintains extensive terrain for snowshoeing and the areas newest sport - snow tubing. Over 10km of trails can be found while exploring the Discovery Snowshoe Area. Several guided programs are available including the popular Saturday evening Chocolate Fondue Tours. Snow Tubing has quickly become an activity of choice for many guests. The Enquist Snow Tube Park features 4 lanes of snow sliding fun, a 100m vertical drop, and a specialized surface lift that eliminates the hiking and tows guests back to the top.
